ArrowSport, a nonprofit foundation, was formed in 2002 to be a strong, unwavering advocate group for archery promotion and growth. ArrowSport is a coalition of partners from the archery industry. These partners include groups like USA Archery, Archery Shooters Association, National Field Archery Association, International Bowhunting Organization, American Crossbow Federation, National Alliance for the Development of Archery, and other industry and state agency groups.

Denise Parker, director of ArrowSport and a three time Olympian in the sport of archery, states, "ArrowSport has five main objectives for the foundation:

    • lower barriers to entry into archery and increase shooting opportunities.
    • grow recreational archery.
    • retain and grow the number of archers.
    • increase public awareness of archery.
    • help unify archers and archery organizations.

With the new Save Our Heritage program funding we hope to make headway in exposing and recruiting new archers to the sport."
