Culinary Compass To Columbus

compass_mn Use profiles and discounts to find fine eats with convenient locations when you’re in Columbus for the 2010 ATA Trade Show.

Due to valuable survey feedback provided by past show attendees, the ATA has created partnerships with restaurants and food vendors to provide discounts at Columbus-area restaurants. We've also worked with the Greater Columbus Convention Center so exhibitors can have food delivered to their booths.

Convention Center Food Venues

First, there are the convention center food venues. There, you'll find eating joints like All-American Hamburgers, Subway, Charley's Steakery, Noble Roman's Pizza and Tony J's Mexican Grill. The ATA has negotiated discount coupons for all Convention Center food venues. Everyone attending the Trade Show will receive a coupon sheet at registration, and the discounts are valued up to 10 percent off your purchase.

Restaurants Within Walking Distance

Other discounted eating opportunities include coupons to some of the best Columbus restaurants within a short walking distance of the convention center. Participating restaurants include Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse, Rosendales Modern Bistro, Marcella's Ristorante, Pizzeria & Wine Bar and Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant. If you're interested, get the coupons here.

marcellas Marcella's Ristorante is one of many restaurants within walking distance of the convention center that has offered discounts to those attending the ATA Trade Show.

Delivery and a Preview of Affordable Eats

Finally, this year, exhibitors have the option of ordering food for delivery directly to their booths. Plus, the ATA has put together a list of affordable restaurants. If you're on a budget and you're hoping to avoid the high-end stuff, grab a burger or something lowkey and go to bed, check out the list provided at archerytrade.org, by clicking here. The list is divided into two parts, one covers affordable eats downtown, while the other profiles eating joints within 15 miles of the convention center.

Save some dough. Eat some dough. Have fun.

The ATA spent more than $15,000 to hire the services of a landscape architect to design archery parks and facilities for many state wildlife agencies.
