2010 ATA Trade Show: Thank You

entranceThe ATA Trade Show is first and foremost about doing business and writing orders. The ATA does its best to create an environment that does not distract from these core principles and delivers a value that justifies the travel and expense invested to come.

In 2010, you came. And we thank you. The 2010 ATA Trade Show in Columbus, Ohio, drew nearly 12 percent more attendees than in 2009. It featured 478 exhibitors, 25 more than in 2009. The total included 90 first-time exhibitors, as well as 24 start-up companies in the ATA’s new Innovation Zone. The exhibitors combined to rent 154,320 square feet of booth space, nearly 1,400 more square feet than 2009.

Given those numbers, we are pleased with the Show’s success and we have you to thank for that. Time away from your business and home is time suspended. It’s a sacrifice that matters and, in the end, that sacrifice must be worth it. Initial feedback indicates it was.

entrancebTestimonials from those who exhibited and attended the Show will be featured in each of the three trade magazines — ArrowTrade, Archery Business and Inside Archery. As in past years, the ATA will also work with Responsive Management to collect data from those who attended the 2010 Trade Show. The survey will formally capture and review feedback to identify Show likes, dislikes and needs for improvement.

Once again, many thanks to each of you for a great Show. See you next year in Indianapolis, Jan. 6-8 for the 2011 ATA Trade Show!
