Rooms Featuring Prime Locations and Discounted Rates Remain Available

hotelATA members can still take advantage of special rates and perks negotiated on their behalf at prime hotels in Columbus, Ohio, for the 2012 ATA Trade Show.

“We still have quality packages available at three hotels in our block,” said Kelly Kelly, ATA meeting and events manager. Kelly said ATA members didn’t waste time booking their rooms when we opened the hotel block this summer for  Trade Show reservations.

As of Aug. 9, Kelly said the three hotels with the most rooms and scheduling flexibility are the DoubleTree, which is 82 percent full; Hyatt Capitol Square, 69 percent full; and Holiday Inn – Capitol Square, 32 percent full.

ATA members can review each hotel’s entire package to compare their values:

Doubletree Guest Suites: 50 S. Front St., five blocks from the Convention Center.

Single/Double Rate: $131 (all suites); includes free Internet access, discounted parking ($18), and breakfast buffet ($10).

Availability: 82 percent full as of Aug. 9.

Hyatt on Capitol Square: 75 E. State St., six blocks from Convention Center.

Single/Double Rate: $139; includes free Internet access, discounted valet parking ($12), and breakfast buffet ($12).

Availability: 69 percent full as of Aug. 9.

Holiday Inn – Capitol Square: 175 E. Town St., eight blocks from Convention Center.

Single/Double Rate: $89; includes free Internet access, free parking and free airport shuttle.

Availability: 32 percent full as of Aug. 9.

“ATA members recognized the great deals available to them through their membership,” she said. “Fortunately, great deals and locations remain, but I encourage ATA members to act fast. The Show floor itself is nearing capacity, so the momentum is building. The longer members wait to book their rooms, the fewer options they might have.”
