85 Percent of Booth Space Sold for 2010 ATA Trade Show

With about 85 percent of the booth space now reserved, limited space remains for companies wanting to exhibit at the 2010 ATA Trade Show in January at Columbus, Ohio.

Most exhibitors locked in their booth space for the Jan. 13-15 (Wednesday-Friday) show during the initial signup, which ended May 15. Even though 318 exhibitors have already booked 121,500 square feet of floor space at the Columbus Convention Center, the ATA expects many others to compete for the remaining space during the next five months.

Booth rentals for the 2010 show look strong and promising, according to Cindy Brophy, ATA Trade Show director. At the same time a year ago, 320 exhibitors had booked 127,400 square feet of floor space for the 2009 show at Indianapolis.

“Our numbers from last year to this year are very close,” Brophy said. “Now we hope dealers and other attendees react to the exhibitors’ strength in numbers by registering and committing to a show that well represents our industry.”
