Time Moves Rapidly. 2010 Trade Show Looms Ahead.

If you hope to exhibit, but have not reserved your booth, do so NOW.
For most of this decade, my job and life have been defined and scheduled around the convention and trade-show season each winter. First, at the National Wild Turkey Federation and now with the ATA, I feel a twinge of awareness when summer gets oppressive, school starts and the tomato plants look haggard. You know you've got fall upon you - the eve of the busy season - and then, right around the old proverbial corner, there it is: Trade Show is upon me. And Trade Show is upon you.

So, now I'm starting to think about what needs to get moving and wondering if my plans are in place. That means trying to remember what I hoped to improve this year that didn't go so smoothly last year. Truly, there's roughly 5 months until the show. Already, 86 percent of booth space is reserved and the 2010 show is taking shape quickly. These next five months will fly by. Are you ready?

For exhibitors or hopeful exhibitors, bear in mind two things:
  1. Secure Your Booth. If you hope to exhibit, but have not reserved your booth, do so NOW. Space is limited and we expect a flurry of activity this fall to snap up available space. Beat the rush.
  2. Leverage Exhibitors Data. When you sit down to plan for this year's show - how you'll approach pre-show marketing, how many folks will staff your booth and so on - consider two pieces of valuable research we've secured for you and provided on our Web site. Descriptions of each report and links to the downloadable files are below.
