MembersThe ATA aids its members by improving communication and business interactions among and between industry members, and by growing, protecting and promoting archery and bowhunting. Its membership includes manufacturers, retailers, distributors, sales representatives and others working in the archery and bowhunting industry. "The ATA strives to be a vital supporter of member businesses, primarily through our annual trade show and through actions involving the federal excise tax, legislative and regulatory issues,” said Jay McAninch, ATA President/CEO. “At the same time, our organization is looking toward the future by developing, implementing and funding programs to increase participation in archery and bowhunting." Membership NumbersATA membership has averaged about 1,650 in recent years after hitting a low of 505 in 2000 when it was known as the Archery Manufacturers and Merchants Organization, or AMO. ATA membership nearly doubled by 2003 to about 950 members, and has shown consistent growth throughout this decade. |
