ATA Signs Multi-Year Deal with Indy for ATA Show

The ATA Trade Show will be held in Indianapolis for seven of the next nine years, beginning in 2015. ATA President/CEO Jay McAninch signed the long-term deal during a ceremony April 25 in Indianapolis. More specifically, McAninch signed two contracts – with Visit Indy and the Indiana Convention Center – to hold the Show in Indy in 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2020 to 2023. ATA Board OKs New Preference-Points System for Trade Show

Exhibitors with 10 or more preference points should now have their booth-selection information packets to help plan for the 2015 ATA Trade Show in Indianapolis, Ind. The packets were mailed March 20 from the ATA’s office in New Ulm, Minn., according to Maria Lewis, ATA Trade Show manager. Small-business owners and trade-show exhibitors can rest easier now that a federal court has banned Slovakia-based scam artists from selling entries to a phony online trade-show directory. The court issued a $9 million judgment against Wolfgang Valvoda, Susanne Anhorn, and Construct Data Publishers a.s., which also does business as Fair Guide.
