ATA TRADE SHOW EXHIBITORS: BOOTH SELECTION STARTS SOON


Exhibitors planning to attend the 2013 ATA Trade Show in Louisville, Ky., will receive their booth-selection information packets in March.

Then, on April 24, ATA Trade Show manager Maria Lewis will begin making booth-selection phone calls, by appointment, to exhibitors.

MICHIGAN DNR DIRECTOR MEETS STATE ATA MEMBERS
If Michigan approves its first increase in hunting license fees since 1997, the Michigan DNR would work to provide grant money for state conservation groups to do habitat-improvement projects on state-owned hunting properties. That was one idea proposed by Rodney Stokes, director of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, when meeting with ATA-member dealers and manufacturers Jan. 10.

U.S. FISH & WILDLIFE SERVICE DIRECTOR TALKS WOLVES
Daniel Ashe, director of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, discussed the status of wolf management during a breakfast meeting Jan. 11 with several ATA Board and industry members and Miles Moretti, president/CEO at Mule Deer Foundation; and David Allen, president/CEO of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
