New Ulm, Minn. - With the recent announcement that Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney selected Congressman Paul Ryan (R-WI) as his running mate, the Archery Trade Association has received media requests to reference ATA articles and materials about Ryan's affection for bowhunting and his work as an advocate on behalf of the archery and bowhunting industry.

NEW ULM, Minn. — With Saturday morning's announcement that Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney selected Congressman Paul Ryan (R-WI) as his running mate, the ATA has received media requests concerning news and ATA writings on Paul Ryan. The vice presidential candidate has been a friend to the archery and bowhunting industry since his election in 1999 at age 28. Most recently, Congressman Ryan was awarded the position of Chair of the Honorary Board of the Archery Trade Association on June 28, 2012 in Washington, DC. Welcoming Ryan into his new position with the industry are Jay McAninch, ATA CEO/President; Ben Summers, TRU Ball Release Products; Scott Shultz, Robinson Outdoor Products; Ryan, Jimmy Primos, Primos Hunting Calls; and, Greg Easton, Easton Hoyt.

NEW ULM, Minn. - Brady Ellison started competing in the Junior Olympic Archery Development Program while growing up in Payson, Ariz. and now this young archer is aiming for Olympic gold in London this summer. Archery competition begins on July 27.
