10.04.11 | ATA, Zebra Publishing Announce Enhanced Show Guide and Member Directory

NEW ULM, Minn. - Zebra Publishing and the Archery Trade Association (ATA) are pleased to announce their latest collaboration: an enhanced Official ATA Trade Show Guide that will now feature the comprehensive Official ATA Member Directory.

"Now that we have made the ATA Trade Show a member-only event, it makes sense to combine the two publications - the ATA Show Guide and an ATA Member Directory," said Jay McAninch, ATA president/CEO. "With its timely January distribution, the dual guide and directory will extend the publication's value throughout much of the year."

The dual publication will list all ATA member companies including manufacturers, retailers, distributors, sales reps, media and other industry businesses. Now that the directory will be an addition to the existing ATA Show Guide, every industry company attending the 2012 ATA Show will receive the publication. Distribution throughout the outdoor business and nonprofit community is also planned.

"We're honored that the ATA has chosen to partner with us to create this more convenient and comprehensive Show Guide," said Zebra Publishing owner and founder Sherry Krenz. "We've received positive feedback on the Show Guide in previous years, and we believe that adding the complete ATA Member Directory will make it an even more useful reference tool for ATA members."

As in past years, the ATA and Zebra Publishing will continue to evolve and improve the Show Guide to meet the needs of Trade Show participants. Since 2000, the ATA has contracted with the Colorado-based publishing company to produce its official show guide. At the Trade Show, archery-equipment manufacturers exhibit their newest products for the nation's leading archery retailers and wholesalers.

"Since we partnered with Bill and Sherry Krenz in 2000, Zebra has not only published an ATA Trade Show Guide that has been given the highest ratings by our show attendees, the publication has generated $550,000 for the ATA's community archery work," said McAninch. "By merging our Official ATA Member Directory with the Official ATA Trade Show Guide, we expect the value of the publication to increase and we look forward to working with Sherry and her team to generate more funds for archery and bowhunting programs."
