Day 1, 4:15 p.m. | Celebs Strut Down V.I.P. (Very Innovative Products) RunwayWhere else can you see Michael Waddell flash some leg and Nicole Reeve flash her smile while camouflaged toe to neck in the latest ScentBlocker hunting clothes? That was the scene Monday afternoon at the 2013 ATA Trade Show as more than 100 archery dealers surrounded the fashion runway featured in the first annual V.I.P. (Very Innovative Products) ATA Runway Show at Robinson Outdoor Products (Booth 1043). Dealers saw Mark and Terry Drury, and several other famous hunters strutting in new clothing, safety equipment and scent-blocking sprays. The runway show is the first of its kind at the ATA Trade Show. The red-carpeted, T-shaped runway is surrounded by rows of seating on both sides and at the runway's end, giving the audience close-up views of the models and innovative products. Two large screens streaming product videos, boosting each product's "wow factor" through tight shots and close-ups. Runway shows will continue Tuesday with 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. showings that feature models, and a 2 p.m. special event featuring celebrities. The final two runway shows will take place Wednesday at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. |
