Day 3, 2:57 p.m. | HSS Lightweight Vest is Heavy on Features

Archery Time's Matt Coffey reported that the new Hunter Safety System Elite vest can not only save a hunter's life, but also bring much-needed comfort to any hunter's tree stand. Without compromising its light weight and streamlined feel, the Elite vest offers deep, divided pockets for all your gear, a water-repellant coating and other tried-and-true elements to keep hunters of any size safe and comfortable.

Nick Andrews, brand manager for Hunter Safety Systems, weighs in on this lightweight vest that is heavy on features:

"Rather than simply making a vest that will save your life, we wanted to make the best that happens to save your life. There are heavy-duty buckles so you can make one-hand adjustments even with gloves on. Instead of using the same size straps everywhere, we wanted to reduce weight without losing the safety value, so we redesigned the size of the straps. We also sought out a great zipper because if you happen to fall and you're stuck in your harness, we wanted to make sure you could get out of it. Our zipper stays put all the time, however if you needed to, you could push down on the zipper and get out."
