Trade Show Coordinator
Maria Lewis joined the ATA in September 2009, and works in its New Ulm, Minnesota, office, where she handles all duties involving the ATA Trade Show. Besides helping exhibitors book booth space on the Show floor, she helps coordinate Trade Show events and programs. She also leads the Trade Show team’s site-selection and contracting efforts, and works with all of the Show’s service providers.
In September 2013, to further enhance her role as the Trade Show coordinator, Maria earned a Certification in Exhibition Management (CEM) from the International Association of Exhibitions and Events.
Maria’s responsibilities have steadily increased since joining the ATA. In her original role as exhibitor and member-services manager, she helped members enroll and answered questions about membership classifications. She also managed the ATA’s membership rolls to keep each member’s information current and accurate.
She is a Level 2 archery instructor as recognized by USA Archery and the National Field Archery Association. She is active in sports, and has coached high-school athletic teams.
Maria earned a bachelor’s of arts degree in business administration from the College of Saint Benedict in St. Joseph, Minnesota. After graduation, she worked in accounting and customer service for Canyon Outback Leather Goods Inc., in New Ulm.
