NEW ULM, Minn. - ATA members can register for the 2014 ATA Trade Show and capitalize on deeply discounted room rates within the ATA hotel block, when both services open June 3 at www.archerytrade.org. To assure ATA members have all the information needed to go online and register for the Show and book rooms, the ATA will provide communication with instructions and passcode prior to June 3.
This combo registration streamlines the process, allowing ATA members to take care of both tasks at the same time. Members will also be the first to take advantage of a newly designed archerytrade.org, scheduled to launch prior to registration and hotelopen.
Advantages of making your hotel reservations beginning June 3 when the ATA's hotel block opens are numerous; with the most notable incentive to members being the deeply discounted room rates the ATA negotiates.
"Hotels in the ATA block are within walking distance of the Music City Center or they offer complimentary round-trip shuttle," said Kelly Kelly, the ATA's executive assistant and meeting/events manager.
Booking inside the ATA block also gives members access and exposure to special Show promotions, broadcasts from the Show floor and front desk handouts featuring new-product information.
"By staying in an ATA block, our members stay more connected to the Show and their business," Kelly said. "It helps Show attendees network after Show hours; they're more likely to bump into industry colleagues in the hotel lobby, bar or restaurant. I'm confident that when people check out their ATA options and tally everything in the package, they'll find the ATA brokered the best deal possible."
In preparation for registration opening on June 3, ATA members are reminded to renew ATA memberships, which run from April 1 through March 31. To renew now for the 2013-2014 member year, log into your account on the ATA's member-only Web page. If you prefer to renew by mail, send your payment to Archery Trade Association, P.O. Box 70, New Ulm, MN 56073-0070.
Next year's ATA Show returns to Nashville, Tenn., for the first time since 2002. The Show, scheduled for Jan. 6-8, takes place in Nashville's new Music City Center (MCC). As a reminder, the MCC is not part of the Nashville Convention Center, nor is it part of Opryland, site of the 2002 Trade Show. The MCC is located at 201 5th Ave. South, Nashville, TN 37203. The facility is so new that it won't accept mail at this address until May 1. Its shipping/freight address is 700 Korean Veterans Blvd., Nashville, TN 37203.
The ATA Trade Show is a member-only show. If you wish to attend the 2014 ATA Trade Show, you must be an ATA member. Questions? Please contact Becky Lux at firstname.lastname@example.org, or (866) 266-2776, ext. 9.
