Attendee Rules & Regs
The acronym of ATA as used herein shall mean Archery Trade Association, Inc. its officers, directors, employees, or agents acting on behalf of ATA.
Each attendee agrees to abide by these regulations and by any amendments or additions thereto that may hereafter be established or put into effect by ATA.
Any and all matters or questions not specifically covered by these rules and regulations shall be subject solely to the decision of ATA. The rules and regulations may be amended at any time by ATA, provided that such amendments shall not operate to substantially diminish the contract between ATA and you. All amendments so made shall be binding on you on notice to you.
ATA Trade Show Conduct
The ATA Trade Show (“Show”) is a production of ATA and as such is owned by ATA. As an Attendee, your attendance at the Show is solely for the purpose of visiting exhibitor displays and attending meetings and informational sessions, You agree to abide by all pertinent laws, ordinances, rules, regulations and codes of local, state and federal governing bodies together with all rules and regulations of the owners and with regard to the operations of exhibition facility in which the Show is held and all rules and regulations of ATA and any exhibitor related to the use of their name, trademarks and materials. You will not use the exhibition facility in which the Show is held or the Show itself for any unlawful purpose, in any manner as to injure persons or property in the exhibition facility or the Show, or in any manner objectionable to, detracting from or out of keeping with the character of the Show. The use of any equipment, systems or devices without prior notice to ATA including without limitation public address systems, recording systems and devices not in conformance with the objectives of the Show and ATA are prohibited.
Abusive conduct and inappropriate behavior at the ATA Trade Show, including such conduct that is directed toward ATA staff, attendees, guests, exhibitors, affiliated representatives, or any other person participating in the Trade Show is prohibited. At ATA’s sole and absolute discretion, Attendee may be given notice and an opportunity to cure any violation of this general standard of conduct. ATA reserves the right to immediately reject, eject, remove or prohibit any attendee from the Trade Show, if, in its sole and absolute discretion, the attendee violates any Rules or Regulations and/or, are detrimental to the goals and purpose of the Trade Show. If any attendee is rejected, ejected, removed or prohibited from the Trade Show, attendee shall not be entitled to any refund of registration fees or any other fees, and will remain liable for any damages caused by its actions. Attendee acknowledges and agrees that ATA shall have no liability whatsoever arising out of its interpretation and enforcement of any of the foregoing.
Compliance and Enforcement
ATA shall have full discretion in the interpretation and enforcement of all Rules and Regulations. All matters and questions not covered by the Rules and Regulations shall be subject to final judgment and decision of ATA.
In the event that you violate any rule or regulation, ATA reserves an absolute right to invoke either or both of the following remedies, which shall be in addition to, and not in lieu of, any other rights or remedies available to ATA: (A) ATA may order you to leave the Show. (B) ATA may refuse thereafter to enter into any agreement with you or anyone related to you for attendance at any future Show or event produced by ATA.
Limitation of Liability and Indemnification
You for yourself, your successors and assigns hereby release ATA from any and all claims of every sort you may have against ATA based upon, arising out of, or related to the Show, including, but not limited to: loss, theft, damage, destruction, or delay or non-delivery of property or effects; any injury to you, your employees, agents, representatives or guests while in the Show premises; or failure to hold the Show as scheduled. You agree to indemnify and hold forever harmless ATA from any and all damage, loss, liability, claim or expense (including legal fees) based upon, arising out of, or in connection with (1) the violation of any law or ordinance by you, your employees, agents, representatives, guests, or others; (2) failure by you to comply with all applicable terms and conditions contained in these rules or in the agreement between the meeting facility and ATA regarding the Show; (3) damages to property or personal injury caused by you, your employees, agents, representatives or guests while in the Show premises and (4) your presence in and use of the Show premises or a part thereof.
Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this contract shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with the Rules of the American Arbitration Association, and the judgment upon the award rendered by the Arbitrator(s) may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. The location of any arbitration requested shall be in the city where the show takes place or the closest city to the facility having an arbitration panel.
Only ATA Members in good standing will be granted access to the Trade Show as well as other benefits to be determined by ATA. All members’ standing will be determined by the ATA in accordance with its bylaws and operating procedures.
Disclosure of Contact Information
The ATA collects business contact information (e-mail addresses, telephone and facsimile numbers, as well as physical addresses) pertaining to its Members and Trade Show Attendees. Any such information provided by a Member or Trade Show Attendee may be disclosed by the ATA to its other Members, Exhibitors, Official ATA Trade Show Service Providers, and Partners. By providing business contact information to the ATA, Members or Trade Show Attendees have consented to the use and disclosure of that information in this manner. If a Member or Trade Show Attendee does not want the ATA to use or disclose business contact information as described herein, do not provide it. ATA notes that this may result in a Member or Trade Show Attendee being unable to access some or all of our services.
Admission to the show will be through a badge system. No individual will be allowed into the show without an official badge or approval by ATA. Only representatives who are employed by or who are working in an official capacity for the ATA member company are to be registered for a badge. Sales Representatives who represent multiple companies are required to order Sales Rep badges. False certification of individuals with badges or any other method used to assist unauthorized persons to gain admission to the exhibit floor will be subject to confiscation of the badge and/or ejection of the violator from the Trade Show.
There is a $50 reprinting fee for all badges and the President, Senior Executive or Primary Trade Show Contact of the company must be present to request the reprinting of a badge. Reprinting of badges will be at the sole discretion of the ATA. Anyone caught wearing a counterfeit badge or a badge belonging to another member attendee will be removed from the show and the member attendee will lose their badge.
Media - Individuals with an official press badge are permitted to use cameras or image capturing devices on the show floor to photograph or film. ATA reserves the sole right to use any photographs, blogs, writing, Web copy, video tape, depictions, graphics, rendering, recordings, electronic images or publicity material received by or obtained by press attending the event, for whatever use deemed proper by ATA. ATA retains the exclusive right to include photographic, video and other visual portrayals of attendees, any exhibitors and any exhibit space, in any pictorial medium of any nature whatsoever for the purpose of trade, advertising, sales, publicity and otherwise, without compensation to the exhibitor, and all rights will be ATA’s sole property, free of any claims of the exhibitor or event press or any persons deriving any rights or interest from the Exhibitor.
Exhibitors/Attendees - Individuals with an official exhibitor show badge are permitted to take photographs or film only of their own booth or products and/or personnel within their own booth. All others are required to ask exhibitors’ permission before photographing or filming any products or booths on the Exhibitor floor and/or any display area. Individuals using cameras or image capturing devices without the verbal consent of the exhibitor will have the equipment confiscated and/or stored at the expense of the violator and/or have their badge confiscated and be ejected from the Trade Show at the sole and absolute discretion of the ATA.
Only support animals are permitted in the facility under the provision of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Prior approval from Maria Lewis, ATA Trade Show Coordinator, is required and is at the sole discretion of the ATA. Any approved animal must be under leash control of its owner.
No smoking is permitted in the convention center unless in designated smoking areas.
